Banff

 Sun-Tuesday Sept 8-10

Driving… “There be mountains!”

Our driveway…

Monday - work day. Sorting stuff, fixing chair seat and fitting caster legs on drawer unit (my kingdom for a dremel)

Shopping for food in Banff at the IGA where prices are all over the place. Staples were a bit more, but convenience or delectables were sky high!

We’re enjoying Banff and still organizing. We threw out two full shopping bags of stuff we deemed “non-essentials”.

No bugs, no Bears… heard Elk at sunset.

Bow River near Banff Springs hotel.

Richard Hopps has us as A&W coffee converts now!

Rain two days, cool nights… days finally not hot.

Not hitting tourists is good practice for not hitting wildlife!

We’re on our way…!

Welcome to our stories… Retired life on the road. We did three nights at Lake Adam, MB. We had an entire bay to ourselves! Now we’re at Moose Mountain, SK, for one night. So far the roads have been great, and the trailer clutter reduced. This is our home for the next six months. We went Bananas in Melita MB. Crossing the border!

The Peanut Butter is in the sink…

Early A&W coffee in Carlisle SK. They only had cream, so… out to the trailer for milk! Rich Hopps was right! A&W coffee IS really smooth. Then off to Big Muddy!   Badlands and Castle Butte  Linda got to check Big Muddy off her map! And after two years Linda still can’t always close the truck door (door seal vs air pressure). For what it’s worth sorting has found a place.

Peanut Butter now in recycling…
