Sept 12-14 Banff

 More rain.

Good for reading with space heater going.

Domestic chores never end.

Yesterday we found “Surprise Corner”… a great view from the other side of the falls.

There are SIGNS but there are SOME people…

We just enjoyed our view… Selfie!

Nice weather so off to Mystaya Canyon. Slot cut through the rocks from Peyto Lake to North Saskatchewan River. 300 rocky metres down AND up! I made it on a bum knee… yay perseverance and very tiny steps.

Easy Saturday organizing and decorating.

  1. Love the selfie! I know rain never dampens your adventures as it always seems to play a part in your stories. And it must be nice to be missing all the tourist hordes of summer! :-)

We’re on our way…!

Welcome to our stories… Retired life on the road. We did three nights at Lake Adam, MB. We had an entire bay to ourselves! Now we’re at Moose Mountain, SK, for one night. So far the roads have been great, and the trailer clutter reduced. This is our home for the next six months. We went Bananas in Melita MB. Crossing the border!

The Peanut Butter is in the sink…

Early A&W coffee in Carlisle SK. They only had cream, so… out to the trailer for milk! Rich Hopps was right! A&W coffee IS really smooth. Then off to Big Muddy!   Badlands and Castle Butte  Linda got to check Big Muddy off her map! And after two years Linda still can’t always close the truck door (door seal vs air pressure). For what it’s worth sorting has found a place.

Peanut Butter now in recycling…
