Linda commented on the high rate of trains last night. Their brakes are worse than nails on a blackboard!
The Thompson River closed to fishing today! Conservation measures, which I can’t fault. Will fish Morgan and Six Mile lakes instead. Sooooo…
Kamloops - first stop A&W for coffee, then bloodwork (by way of Staples to print the requisition from my phone), fly-fishing gear again, and Vancouver Island bookings.
Linda liked the hearty burgers and fries at “The White Spot”. Tiny supper to follow.
Only chore was defrosting the fridge. Yay!
Linda points out that we are one month on the road and now “Lease Free”. We are Tenants of the Road. Wanderers, Vagabonds, Wayfarers.

Day at camp. Crib tournament, Linda squeaked out a victory.
Linda scared a poor snake!
Just about asleep and Linda asks “how many TRAIN songs do you know”? WTF?
Twelve, we came up with twelve… Zzzzzz!

Lytton to see the confluence of Fraser and Thompson rivers, each a different colour! Lytton was the town that burned 3 years ago.
Stopped at Desert Hills market for the lowest prices on fruits and vegetables EVER! Gala 50 cents/lb, 5lb Jalapeno $6.00.
Linda tickled a dinosaur!
We made Chili.
Getting bloodwork results while travelling is a nightmare. I can’t use my existing requisition because I’m outta province.

We used our new SELPHY to start making custom postcards.
