17,500km later we are back in the 'Peg for a while...

No trip to Sault Ste Marie is complete without a stop at:

Oct 7 Tues. Hike on Coastal Trail near Interpretive Centre aborted because of bear cub sighting by couple a little further down the trail.  Found a few mushrooms though.
We think it was the same cub that passed through our campsite later, included a scramble under our trailer, park staff were on hand.
Oct 8 Wed we wandered north of Agawa – Sandy River, and Finding our inner Group of Seven at Old Woman Bay
Where's the Sand???

Last round of Painted stones for Thunder Bay

Oct 9 Thurs. On to Neys PP, beautiful beach, Little Pic R empties into Superior here and they have a bear nicknamed Blueberry because of all the blue paintball splats on his butt, loves to nosh on the grass by the comfort station.  Didn’t make his acquaintance.

Oct 10 Fri. Back to Kakabeka Falls PP/Thunder Bay for Thanksgiving weekend.  Opened the park season in the spring and closed it in the fall.  Toured a couple of farmers markets.

Oct 14 Tues depart for Davy Lake

Oct 15 Wed. Lunch stop in Kenora for their famous onion blossom. Then on to Falcon Cove RV Park, MANITOBA!  Not a stellar place but we got somewhat squared away for our return to the ‘Peg.
Found a lovely coffee shop/diner in Prawda – cards, cinnamon bun...

Oct 18 Sat. Winnipeg AirB&B – whoa, 6 mos. In one place :). A whole basement suite, incredible space and a TV – let the binging begin!  Trailer to StorageVille. Boston Pizza for Rog’s favorite birthday dinner, Smokey Mountain meatballs with spaghetti.

We were here!
